Laura Cate Weyman grew up with two visual Artists as parents, Jacqueline Carcagno and William Weyman (founders of Daedalus Gallery). She was born and raised in France, relocated to Costa-Rica for two years, and eventually settled in Savannah, GA where she currently resides. The combination of being immersed in various cultures and being surrounded by Art her entire life, has birthed her unique eye for photography. Furthermore, her background in visual Arts translates into her writing as well. She is currently pursuing a BFA in creative writing at Georgia Southern University and along the way, discovered a passion for photography. People fascinate her and she strives to explore their psychology through portraiture, fiction, and creative non-fiction.
